Security Operations Platform

Security tooling has to clear a higher bar than ordinary software. It aggregates exactly the data an attacker wants, and its findings must be reproducible enough to stand behind in an audit. A noisy alerting layer is as harmful as a silent one.

• •Compliance frameworks overlap and drift, so control mappings must be maintainable data, not hardcoded logic
• •Alerting needs severity-based routing that surfaces real threats without drowning analysts

We built the platform as a scan, ingest, and normalize pipeline feeding a control-mapping engine, with queue-based workers for long-running scans. The hardening pass treated our own product as the first audit subject.

• Built the scanning engine on queued workers with OWASP ZAP and Nmap integrations and CVE enrichment
• Modeled compliance frameworks as data, with controls, mappings, and evidence links maintained without deploys
• Implemented severity-based alert routing with escalation workflows and response playbooks
• Generated audit reports from collected evidence, from executive summary down to technical detail
• Ran a penetration test against the platform itself and hardened every endpoint before go-live
